Strolling around the Capital

Pink Street

Hello my cuties!! I hope you had a wonderful and magical Xmas!
Me and my mum decided to go on a spontaneous trip to Lisbon!! You guys... I can't tell you how much I love this enchanting city! Lisbon always ceases to amaze me!

There are countless places to explore, endless museums to see and so many cool spots!! Not to talk about the mouth-watering food!!
We stayed at the spectacular Portobay hotel, located at Avenida da Liberdade! I highly recommend it!! The service was marvelous!! They have an amazing spa, yummy food and you even have your own private balcony! How insane!!
The first day we got there, unfortunately the weather was awful! It was really rainy and windy! So we decided to do some shopping at Avenida da Liberdade! We ended up shopping at Louis Vuitton... BUT let me tell you something!! I'm beyond disappointed with the service!! It was the worst service I have ever had!! First thing first, we waited 30 minutes (no joke) when there were plenty enough of staff!! Besides that, they were really rude and didn't even explain that the handbag we have bought had a secret pocket and a key!!
The next day, we decided to explore Bairro Alto which has a magnificent view!! After that, we decided to stroll around Chiado and ended up shopping a bit since they have numerous shops!!
Another place I would suggest, mainly to take some pictures, is at the famous Pink street!!
On our last day, we wanted to visit Lisbon's oldest part and what better way of doing it than on a private tuk tuk tour. Even tough, it was on the pricey side, it was worth it since the driver was always stopping and explaining Lisbon's history! He showed us places that we had no idea it would exist!
We went to Parque Eduardo VII and then we explore the streets nearby S. Jorge Castle!! If you want to enjoy a remarkable view of Lisbon I would recommend you the Miradouro of Santa Luzia!! If you want a better place, then you must go to Colina da Senhora do Monte or known as Monte de São Gens! Lastly, we visited Alfama! It didn't even feel like we were in Lisbon! It looked like we were on the countryside! I highly recommend!
