SUMMER OUTFITS

Hello beautiful people! How are you guys feeling today? I hope you have had a magical summer! I still cannot believe it's September already!! It feels like a couple days ago I was planning my holidays and now I'm on my second week of college. This is absolutely INSANE!! I would like to start by wishing the best of luck for everybody that is starting a new phase in their lives... whether it's college, university, work or school! Now, you may be wondering why the heck am I doing a post about summer when I should be doing a post related to fall. Well it's still pretty warm in most of the countries right now. Apart from that, you can adjust some of these outfits by layering with coats, sweaters and trench coats. If you are going on vacation to a tropical place this post is exactly for you. I hope like this post and get some inspiration! 

1) STATEMENT PIECES:

Statement pieces... oh, how can I describe them... Hmmm.... they are absolutely perfect and so practical. There are so many different ways of wearing them. You can wear them for million different occasions and most important you can use them for any time of the year. I decided to wear this top from Verge Girl. The quality is, without a doubt spectacular!! It's so flattering and it's a clothing item that you can wear for an important event, for a dinner or a date, during winter or summer. It looks amazing with denim jeans, with a skirt, with cycling shorts but I decided to wear it with some classic black pants from ZARA. I mean, you can never go wrong with some good old classic pants. 

2)DRESSES, DRESSES AND MORE DRESSES:

Have I told you that I absolutely LOVE wearing dresses? Especially during summer!! They look super cute, outstanding and it looks like you have put a lot of effort into it when you simply haven't!! Silk, short, long, midi, dresses in general are simply the best. I decided to wear this polka dot dress from CamilaCoelhoCollection via Revolve. What a cute dress! Makes feel like an espanholita and most important it's so flattering. Decided to use Swarovski earrings and Pull&Bear shoes.

3)SILK AND PEARLS PLEASE:

Silk is another material I absolutely love wearing during summer. It feels so light and chic! This blazer dress is from NBD via Revolve. Ended up by accessorizing it with a different handbag from ZARA. Earrings from Bluebird. Bralette from Intimissimi.

4) A POP OF COLOUR NEVER HURT ANYONE:

To be frankly honest with you guys, I was never the type of person that would dare to use  bold and bright colours, but now it's all I wanna wear. It's always good to be different, to get out of your comfort zone, to be bold, to be wild and stand out when it comes to colours and materials! I decided to wear this absolutely dazzling green dress from L'Academie via Revolve for dinner. Literally feeling like an avocado.

5)VELVET FOR SUMMER? WHY NOT?

Velvet for summer? You must think I am crazy for choosing such thick material for warm days! No I am not. You can perfectly wear it to go for a dinner or a picnic! It looks so chic and casual at the same time! I decided to wear this AMAZING pants from LPA via Revolve. They are the most comfortable pants I have ever worn. Trust me when I'm saying this. It almost feels like I'm not even wearing pants, do you know what I mean? I decided to wear it it with a simple white shirt from H&M. You could wear it with any other top or sweater if it's winter. Final touch... this stunning belt from Urban Outfitters. Can we take a minute to appreciate it. 

6)NEUTRALS AND LINEN:

You can never go wrong with linen fro summer!! It for sure looks effortless and so chic. Not to mention it's comfortable. I decided to wear these linen pants from Massimo Dutti. It's one of my favorite brands. They always come up with unique pieces with amazing quality. I highly recommend this brand. I wore it with this top from Oysho which is another fantastic brand. You can find clothes for gym, for a daily basis, for the beach and once again with amazing quality. Since the outfit was pretty simple I decided to spice it up by wearing these animal printed sandals from ZARA and handbag from Mango.

7)BLAZERS:

If you know me, you might know that something I wear all the time is blazers!! Whether it's summer or winter I simply wear it. For summer, I like to wear it with a simple shirt underneath and some shorts, skirts or even with dresses. It looks so cool and effortless. I wore this oversized blazer from Storets with a simple white shirt from Guess and a denim skirt from Stradivarius. Lastly, the final touch... Gucci sneakers via Fashion Clinic. Wearing boots or sneakers with blazers and skirts gives a mix of casual and girly look which I love!

8)ARE CARGO PANTS STILL A THING?

Not long time ago, if you would ask me this question I would say ABSOLUTELY NO!! But then, I just went for it! I mean they are so comfortable and different! It's more than just simple pants. These pants are from Bershka. The top is from a Portuguese brand called Casual Chic Store.  They have so many options and most important they are pretty affordable. I wore it with these Converse sneakers and once again the BIG handbag from Mango.

9) READY FOR A PICNIC OUTFIT:

I mean who doesn't love picnics?? It has been a tradition of my family for the longest time I can remember. We do it all the time. This is the outfit I have worn. The exact same pants from the first outfit but in white (Pants from ZARA). Top from Zara as well. You can wear it with denim jeans, shorts or skirts. Hat from Billabong and earrings from Zara.
