A DAY IN MY LIFE

" Take time to make your soul happy "

Hello beautiful people!! Hope you had an amazing and productive week! I know you can read the title but guess what? I decided to show you a day in my life!! What a special day looks like to me!! There will be a lot of fun and different activities ideas to do with your friends, families and partners!! A wide variety of restaurants, bars and cool spots in general. I hope you enjoy this post and it will give you some inspiration.

As soon as I wake up, I always like to start my day early by having a nice breakfast. After all it's the most important meal of the day!! I usually have oatmeal with banana, honey and chia seeds! For drink, I either (almost every day) have a coffee with hazelnut milk (I guess I'm coffee team) or a smoothie. That's what I usually would have for breakfast. Another healthy breakfast option I would have is smoked salmon with avocado or with eggs! But lets be honest sometimes you are in such hurry that you end up having a yogurt or a fruit. 

After having breakfast, whenever I have more time I like going to the local market! They always have fresh fruits and vegetables. It's always nice to give support to local and national producers am I right? After that, I like going to the gym and work out with my personal trainer!! But let's be frankly honest, we are not always in a mood to work out! Even if it's the last thing I want to do I always try to push and motivate myself to at least go for a walk at the beach or do a less intense workout! I like to wake up early and be productive as possible. Go to the gym, run some errands, going to appointments and much more. But sometimes, we get so tired that all we really need is take some time for ourselves. Focus and treat ourselves! Relax all day and watch movies am I right!!

Especially during summer I just love spending the entire day at the beach. There's just something about the ocean that makes feel like dancing and relaxed all at the same time! We can say it's my happy place! Here are the coolest spots to spend your day or have lunch/brunch with your family, friends or partner:

- Vila Joya: It's one of my favourite places! The food is just absolutely mouthwatering!!! The burrata though... is so freaking delicious!! Not to mention their yummy desserts and smoothies!! I just can't seem to resist them. The place itself has an amazing environment. Don't forget you have to make a reservation but you can also just go for a drink and go to Xiringuito beach which is pretty quiet and beautiful.

- The Shack Bar: It's such a cool spot located at Quinta do Lago! There's a restaurant, a lake with offers so many fun activities such as kayaking and you can also reserve a big bed and relax all day long. Their food is also so yummy and much cheaper comparing to Vila Joya. If you ever have the chance to go there, try their mini donuts and cheese and chicken quesadilla! BOMB AF!! They also have so many nice events going on! You don't need to make a reservation to eat eat there! You need it just for the beds!!

- Nosolo Água (Portimão, Albufeira or Vilmaoura): It's similar to The Shack bar but it's in the beach. Once again amazing environment and lovely food!

 These are one of my favourite places to spend my day during summer. In general, I just love to hang out with my closest friends at the beach. I am blessed that I was born in Algarve mainly for having the most stunning beaches. I love going to Lagos! It's one of my favourite areas in Algarve! I highly recommend it! Just have a brunch in the old town. Get lost around the beautiful streets of Lagos. Go to Dona Ana Beach or Camilo Beach. I promise you won't regret it. Dazzling beaches, many activities to do and nice Portuguese food! I love going to Sagres, Carvoeiro, Tavira Island, Armona Island, Barril Beach, Quinta do Lago and so many other places. (Camilo Beach in these pictures).

 After spending the day at the beach I like to relax a bit before going on another adventure! Something I absolutely love doing especially if it's warm outside is PICNICS!! It has been a tradition of my family for the longest time I can remember!! Doing it with your close friends and family is just so fun and such a different activity to do. I love bringing fruits, sandwiches and obviously burrata with pesto!! I mean who doesn't love it? Sometimes I just absolutely love going to the movies especially if it's outdoor cinema at Magnolia Hotel. Both activities are so romantic to do with your girlfriend or boyfriend! If you are not too tired or haven't done much, a good activity to is Zip-lining. You can do it at Santa Eulália and it's affordable. One of my favourite things to do is horse riding which is possible at Quinta da Saudade! Definitely worth it!

Something I also love doing on my special day is going for dinner at my favourite place called Bovino Steak House. How can I describe it in one word? AMAZING!! The food is so delicious. Not to mention you have such a wide variety of food options! The place itself is absolutely dazzling, with rustic and unique decoration! Another place I love going for dinner is called Quinta dos Santos. Oh lord, let's just say I'm not the best at describing restaurants! All you need to know is that they have yummy food and it's a beautiful location.

Lastly, me and my friends love to end our night by having a drink at Sal Rosa. It's the best place to have drinks and spend nice time with your friends. Each drink is prepared very carefully with local and handmade products (except for the alcohol and liquors). Casa do Cerro and Passion are also other bars with a very chill and relaxing environment. To sum up, I love to start my day by having breakfast. Whenever I have time I like going to the local market, run some errands, go to appointments and do everything I have planned and need to do. After that, I always try to work out with my personal trainer. During summer, I adore spending the day at the beach or other places such as Quinta do Lago, Vila Joya, The shack Bar, Nosolo água, with my closest friends. Around 5pm/6pm I either go to the cinema, do a picnic, zip-line or have dinner. I like ending up my night by having a drink at my favourite place, Sal Rosa.
